How do I submit my order form?

There are a few steps you must follow to ensure we are all on the same page with your custom design:

1. Fill out your order form with all of your customizations. Be as specific as possible in the textboxes when describing things like stamping and colors. Submit order and prepare shipment to our warehouse.

2. OPTIONAL: Download the customization order form (link) and draw in any design you think may not be explicit in the textboxes. Send to contact@duckhookcustoms.com with your order number or include in the shipment box

3. Upon receipt of your club, Duckhook will setup a consultation call to make sure we understand everything you want customized. We can offer any suggestions if needed. If changes are made during consultation, we will send a follow-up email for you to agree upon before we start the work.

4. When the work is complete, Duckhook will send an email with pictures of the completed product and prepare shipment back!

How long will it take to get my putter back?

Typical lead-time is 4-5 weeks once the consultation call occurs. Official lead-time will be discussed before work is started.

Can I make changes to my order?

Because refinishing requires many steps, changing an order midstream is not possible.  We will spend the time up front making sure you make the right choices for your club.

What if I want something that is not listed on your order form?

Contact us! This is your unique design and we love trying new design combinations. We will review and quote anything you like.

Should I send with my head cover?

Please do not send with headcover. We will not store it during the time your putter is being customized and it will not be returned.

How do I take care of my putter to make sure it stays looking great?

Care for your custom putter will depend on the finish you chose.  Carbon steel will corrode very quickly so keeping it oiled is very important.  Keep the headcover on when not in use and keep it dry and clean after the round. A care card will be provided when the club is returned, and is also located in the care section of the website.

Do you offer gift certificates?

We do!  They allow the putter owner to pick all the right customizations so you don’t have to! They can be for a specific dollar amount, or for a "full customization". We will charge a $100 deposit and the remainder amount upon completion. If we are given a budget, we can give your loved one options to make the best design possible within a certain cost.

What if I want a custom putter, but my putter is not nice enough to customize?

Contact us! If you have an exact make and model in mind, we can source it for you. If you don't know what you want, give us a general idea and we will go out and source for you. From there, you will have a blank canvass to customize any way you want!

Will the putter be insured upon return?

You can choose to add insurance for the return shipment and we suggest you insure it when you send it to us.  Package it well in a sturdy box with bubble wrap.

Will you send back my old grip and/or shaft if I order a new one?

- Shafts can be returned upon request with or without the original grip attached. A $10 fee will apply

- Grips are most often destroyed when removed so they are not returned if using the same shaft. We highly recommend our cork grips, especially with the magnetic ball mark in the shaft end.

Can I send you my putter from outside the US and do you ship internationally?

Yes and yes.  Send us an email and we will certainly work with you.  Fedex and DHL are preferred shippers. Additional charges may apply
